Class of 1972 Reunion

Our 40th Class Reunion Weekend was held in June. It was scheduled to coincide with the annual dinner of the Chardon Alumni Association. Classmates met on June 15th at Bass Lake Taverne to have dinner and drinks on the patio. On Saturday, we hosted a Ladie's Luncheon at Rose Pointe Tea Cottage on Chardon Square where we remembered classmate Nan Petersen who passed away last year. At 4PM, we met for a cocktail hour at the Chardon Micro Brew Works on Chardon Square just before the CHS Alumni Association Dinner at the Fowler's Mill Golf Course. We finished the Reunion Celebration Weekend with an Indians Game at Progressive Field. We had great seats in the air conditioned Club area, with all you can eat foods and snacks throughout the game. Thanks to all who helped to plan the various activities and to those who attended one or all. Good to see everyone.

Class of 1987 Reunion

NOTICE THIS IS A TWO DAY EVENT....Sat, Aug 11th...Cabanas Chardon, Rt 322 back Patio Dinnertime...Buy your own meal if u want and cash bar
we also added a day for the whole family ON SUNDAY...
Sun, Aug 12th Big Creek Park, Chardon, Maple Grove area, Family Picnic 1pm -5pm ...I had some classmates mention it would be nice to also get together with our kids for a fun family event since this is our big 25!!!I hope no one minds that I went ahead and took it upon myself to reserve the Maple Grove shelter at Big Creek Park for Sunday Aug 12th (day after our evening event). This will not only give us a chance to interact with our entire families but also a second choice for those that can not attend Saturdays event. We will be there rain or shine and will see if its okay to bring our canaopys to add shelter if there is bad weather....here are details...(there is a playground, walking trails, and a lake for fishing near this shelter.)

Sunday, Aug 12th 1pm-5pm (I actually reserved from 11am till 9 pm so come enjoy the day as long as you want) We will eat at 1:30 so please try to be there by then since this is potluck, so all food is there for lunch, if u are gonna be late probably a good idea to bring dessert dish :)
Each person or family is to bring
* A potluck dish to share(whatever comes by 1:30 , we eat, so no one person has to figure how many to cook for or figure the expense, just bring your favorite dish be it a main dish a side dish or dessert!)
*Your own cooler with whatever your family wants to drink....I think alcohol is only permitted under pavillion, so you may want to have all that Saturday so u can enjoy the whole area lol, I will confirm
*Your families own place setting (ie plates, cups, utencils, napkins)
*lawn chairs for your family
* We will bring a kick ball, and tug a war rope, we have 1 corn hole game, a washer game and 1 ladder golf, and a volleyball net anyone that has more bring it on cause if the weather is nice Maple Grove is the shelter that has the huge field in front so we can set stuff up and play all day!
*I will bring some hot dogs(100-200 depending on response) as my potluck to grill so we have some meat but since we won't have an exact head count it may not cover everyone, but the grill will be fired up if anyone wants to bring some other meats to cook

Let me know anything I may have forgot or any input anyone has! and please pass this around to those not on facebook
so everyone knows about it!!Gerry and hubby Mike are offering to supply the music!
